Michael Panush is a lifelong writer.

A born storyteller since childhood, Panush is the author of over a dozen books in numerous different genres. His Western novels include Mark Justice’s The Dead Sheriff: A Cold and Lonesome Grave and the new Alternate History series, American Mammoths. He’s written Woodland Medieval Fantasy with the all-ages Tales of the Dark Forest. His Stone Law series features a neanderthal detective solving prehistoric mysteries. His most recent work, California Wolves, tells the story of a sasquatch private investigator in Northern California.

With Charles Santino, he’s created the jungle adventure Nowhere on Earth and Metropolis: Resurrection—a prequel to the famous German Expressionist Sci-Fi Classic.

He lives and teaches in Sacramento.
